Gobar gas
Home biogas plant
Born in Across India.
How it works
Kitchen and cattle waste ferments in a sealed digester; microbes release methane that is piped back as cooking gas, and the residue leaves as ready fertiliser. One household's organic waste becomes fuel and soil in the same day.
In a modern home
Compact digesters now run on kitchen waste alone; a society-scale plant can turn a tower's wet waste into gas for common-area cooking and manure for the garden.
